  • Hold or obtain all required Basic STCW certificates.
  • Hold or obtain Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness (PMSA) or Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD).
  • Hold or obtain a Marine Communications VHF-SRC Radio Operator's Certificate.
    • Please note: ISSA VHF qualifications are not accepted.
  • Hold a current medical fitness examination and a colour-blindness eyesight examination confirming the candidate is fit to safely perform yacht-related duties. Medical and eyesight examinations must have been completed within the last two (2) years at the time of certificate issuance.
  • Complete the Master of Yachts General Maritime Law examination online prior to the course. CLICK HERE (additional payment required).
