Since its founding in Durban, South Africa, in the year 2000, PYT has established an enviable reputation for yacht crew training.

Professional Yacht Training USA (a.k.a. PYTUSA) was established in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in April, 2013. Since then, we have brought our unique and effective approach to yacht crew training to those that wish to get a foothold with a yachting career. Similarly, our courses are also designed and suited to those that wish, or are required, to extend their certified skill sets for a career to work on a yacht around the world.

PYTUSA is an active member of the Fort Lauderdale yachting community. Our training center is located conveniently in the heart of the “yachting capital of the world”. We are located at 1635 South Miami Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316 – just one block north of SE 17th Street. Any way you get to Fort Lauderdale – we are easy to reach.
